Why make it in advance?
When impossible, you can always cut 2 cm of fresh ginger, 1 tea spoon of honey and squeeze half a lime to which you add hot water to. But preparing the mixture ahead of time, allows the ingredients to enhance their properties. Once done, it's also very easy to just scoop a table spoon of the mixture in the morning and add hot water. Mixture can be made in larger batch kept for up to 2 weeks if sealed and refrigerated.
Ingredients
100g fresh ginger
6 limes
6 tspns honey
3 tspns brown sugar (remove if you are trying to lose weight)
200ml water
Instructions
Cut, peel and blend the fresh ginger in a blender with half a cup of water or peel and grate the ginger by hand
Squeeze out the ginger juice from the pulp
Mix ginger juice with the juice of 6 limes, 6 teaspoons of honey and 3 teaspoons of brown sugar and up to 100ml water
How To use
For the digestive fire: Mix 1 or 2 tablespoon(s) of the mixture with a cup of hot water and take it as your morning drink. You can also have it as a dessert up to 3 times a day.
If you are experiencing symptoms of cough / cold / flu or Covid: Take it after meals up to 3 times a day
